What is a Fixation?
>> fansite that focuses on fan interaction and fan creativity.
>> content examples: wallpapers, icons, fanfiction, fanart, forums etc.
>> fans can donate their material to the Fixation.
>> it is *not* meant to be a conventional fansite.
>> please view some examples (to your right) before applying to run one.
Um. Isn't there already like... Thefanlistings.org?
TFL.org lists fanlistings; sites that list a number of fans. Fixations mostly are concerned with fan interaction and creativity, not just with identifying who these fans are.
Can I my fansite 'be' the Fixation?
If your site is a conventional fansite e.g. with news, gallery, articles, links etc... then most definitely not.
Can I make the Fixation as part of my fansite?
If it has its own layout and URL, e.g. yourfansite.com/fixation, yes. The content must be fan related, interactive and creative with the possibility for fans to donate (read the content guide, please). It cannot be the 'interactive' section on your fansite.
Can I have some pictures and info on the site?
Sure, for instance under the 'intro' or 'extra' sections of the fixation. The main content should still be of a creative, interactive nature.
Can I be a member?
This is not a clique. So no. You can apply to run a website and have it listed here.
Do you want/need any more staffmembers?
After having tried to maintain this network alone for over 2 years (and failing miserably), I've taken on help: 3 staffers. Patricia, Nadine and Crystal. For the moment, the network does not need any more staffers; currently the network is still pretty small. If there is any need, we'll announce it :)
